Section titled “Solar Energy Systems”Configure solar energy systems in the Renewables category of the Installations tab.
Accessing solar configuration
Section titled “Accessing solar configuration”- Open project editing view
- Click Installations tab in right panel
- Navigate to Renewable Energy category
- Select installation type:
- Solar Cell for photovoltaic systems
- Solar Heating Plant for thermal systems
- Click to expand or add new installation
Solar cell configuration fields

- Dropdown: N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW

Saving configuration
Section titled “Saving configuration”- Fill required fields
- Click Save button
- Configuration applies to project
Field format notes
Section titled “Field format notes”Decimal Fields:
- Use format 0.00 (e.g., 0.18)
- Do not use percentages
Numeric Fields:
- Enter numbers only
- Check field label for units (m², kWp, degrees, W, W/K)
Dropdown:
- N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, NW
Inclination:
- Enter degrees from horizontal
- Range 0-90 degrees
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Can’t save configuration
- Check required fields are filled
- Verify numeric fields have valid numbers
- Check decimal fields use 0.00 format
- Try refreshing page
Wrong installation type selected
- Solar Cell for photovoltaic systems
- Solar Heating Plant for thermal systems
- Delete and create new installation if wrong type
Fields not appearing
- Check Installations tab is open
- Verify Renewable Energy category is expanded
- Try scrolling in panel
Configuration not saving
- Check internet connection
- Verify you have edit permissions
- Try saving again
