Hot Water Tank Systems

Configure hot water storage tanks in the Domestic Hot Water category of the Installations tab.

Accessing hot water tank configuration

1. Open project editing view
2. Click Installations tab in right panel
3. Navigate to Domestic Hot Water category
4. Locate Hot Water Tank section
5. Click to expand or add new tank

Configuration fields

Template Title

• Text field for installation name

• Numeric field

• Decimal field (0.0-1.0)

Volume

• Numeric field (liters)

• Numeric field (W/K)

• Dropdown: One-pipe system, Two-pipe system

• Dropdown: Always, Summer, None

• Numeric field (°C)

• Checkbox

Status

• Text field

Internal Note

• Text field

Saving configuration

1. Fill required fields
2. Click Save button
3. Configuration applies to project

Field format notes

Decimal Fields:

• Use format 0.00 (e.g., 0.8)
• Share of Hot Water Consumption: 0.0-1.0
• Do not use percentages

Numeric Fields:

• Enter numbers only
• Check field label for units (liters, W/K, °C)

Troubleshooting

Can’t save configuration

• Check required fields are filled
• Verify numeric fields have valid numbers
• Check decimal fields use 0.00 format
• Verify Share of Hot Water Consumption is between 0.0 and 1.0
• Try refreshing page

Fields not appearing

• Check Installations tab is open
• Verify Domestic Hot Water category is expanded
• Try scrolling in panel

Configuration not saving

• Check internet connection
• Verify you have edit permissions
• Try saving again
