Building Element Notes
Document observations about building components and systems using the Building Element category.
Add a building element note
Section titled “Add a building element note”- Tap Notes button
- Select Building element Category
- Tap camera icon to add photos
- Write Description
- Tap Save
Building element notes link to your current location in the project.
Take photos
Section titled “Take photos”- Tap camera icon
- Take new photos or select from library
- Add multiple photos per note
Use AR annotations for location
Section titled “Use AR annotations for location”For building elements requiring precise location marking:
- Use 3D annotation mode to place 3D pins
- Mark exact location of the element
- Select Building element Category
- Add photos and Description
Organization by location
Section titled “Organization by location”Building element notes automatically link to your current location:
Building level
Section titled “Building level”Document building-wide systems.
Floor level
Section titled “Floor level”Document floor-specific items.
Room level
Section titled “Room level”Document room elements.
Filter and review
Section titled “Filter and review”- Sort by location - Review by floor or room
- Filter by element type - View similar elements together
- Review with photos - Check photo quality and coverage
- Export reports - Share with team
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”Photos not showing detail
- Get closer to element
- Use device flash in dark areas
- Take multiple shots with different angles
- Clean lens and ensure focus
Notes not organized as expected
- Verify you’re in correct location when creating note
- Check project hierarchy structure
- Edit note to change associated location
